STATION ROAD
Forward-thinking clients were determined to build an environmentally exemplary new home in the garden of the existing house. The design respects the situation of neighbouring houses, whilst maximising the outdoor space and its relationship with the new home. The relatively simple building has been constructed to a very high standard, and has been certified as 'Passivhaus Plus' (a building that produces as much energy as its occupants consume). With its high levels of insulation and air-tightness, large photovoltaic array, electricity storage and car charging point, this house is properly future-proof.
