BERKLEY ROAD, FROME
Another self-build project for a new home. The client, having spent much time in the tropical rainforest, wanted to bring memories of that to the edge of a Somerset market town. The single-storey section of the house floats over the landscape, anchored to the two-storey end, while the long sloping roof mimics the rising ground beneath it.
